Corpus Christi Show
August 7 & 8th
JUDGE Mrs Jean Fournier JUDGE Mrs Tomas Gomez
Hiram was awarded Best In Breed. This is the first time at an AKC show that he made the trip to the group ring.
We did not get a group placing we got our 1st point for AKC at the less than 15 month old. A total of 7 were
entered. All but one D-O-G Hiram sister were open dogs and bitches. It was a good time for us.
Thanks to Judge Mrs Jean Fournier for the great words & award for Hiram. Not many judges will do what she
did and put a young dog up over open dog. No matter how good it is.
The show on the 8th ended with Hiram taking class only. Hiram handled great for me the whole weekend.
D-O-G won class both days and went Res on Sunday . This was great , she is turning into a great young bitch,
D-O-G was handled by her new part owner Tyler Honaker, Tyler won his class in showmanship and gained lot
of ring tricks from his new trainer Valery J
The HIGHLIGHT of the whole weekend was Kelsey Hellmann taking Daisy out for the Veterans Class. If you
don't know she is over 10 years old. She seems like she never left the ring. I only wish we can follow her
success in the show ring. Val let her show again and I was glad she let her make the trip around the ring again.
I bet she will now take some time off and hold the couch down a bit longer. Daisy is really a great bitch that
has passed the winning on to her kids and grandkids. Thanks Val.
OH She won the Breed and made good showing in the BIS ring.
Bristol our up and coming Bullmastiff went Res. both days and is starting to mature into a fine dog. Brian
Livingston handled him and Bristol is right on target.
